Nancy Whitehurst serves as the Chief New Development Officer at CORE. Nancy leads CORE's New Development team and manages all aspects of projects from the early stages of planning to each property's sell out. In this role, Nancy's involvement includes research, analysis, pre-development consulting, pricing, and release-schedule consulting, attorney/architect/PR/design/creative team referral, project management, and closings. Since new development projects are a focus for CORE, Nancy plays an integral role in CORE's new development strategy by being continually innovative and forward-thinking with each new project.

Nancy joined CORE as Executive Director of Operations where she implemented all the processes that make CORE run as effectively as it does today, as well as oversaw the design and build out of the brokerage's new Flatiron headquarters. Throughout the course of her career, Nancy gained extensive project management experience from a variety of different industries, from strategic communications to business consulting and design, in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. This depth and range of experience allows her to effectively lead New Development at CORE.

Previously, Nancy served as Chief Operating Officer of Krislyn Productions, a luxury design and event production company based in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Nancy was a Vice President of the New York-based corporate communications firm, Robinson, Lerer and Montgomery, where she led public relations efforts for Fortune 100 companies including a role as interim head of Communications at Revlon, assisting the CEO of United Airlines during their bankruptcy proceedings as well as managing a New York Times investigation, and resulting Senate Sub-committee hearings, of a major healthcare company.

Nancy was raised in Connecticut and received her degree from Northwestern University. She resides in Chelsea.
